I actually never thought I would ever need glasses, despite the fact that both of my parents wear them.  I also think my dad is legally blind but he can see just fine with his super thick glasses.  Anyways, in 2010 I realized I couldn't see road signs ect.  When I first got my eyes checked and bought my glasses I wore them all the time, I was so amazed at how much it improved my eyesight.  But now 2 years later I almost never wear them unless I am at work, driving at night, or watching a t.v. show and really want to see the details.  They don't look too bad on me, but it disturbs my makeup, and I also don't like the restriction of having to look through the lenses.

Well I finally did the "What's in my Bag" Tag!!! I plan to get a new LV handbag by May (my birthday) so I thought I better get to doing this tag yall had asked me to do since what a year ago when I first got it.  Hope it wasn't too long nor too boring.  Love yall lots, and you know this :)

Level 10 - Oldie But Goodie

Have you heard of Level 10 (LVLX)?  I used to work there for 2 years seasonly way way back in the day.  It was a clothing store similar to Forever 21, but the store was way smaller and probably less well known.  Sadly the store closed down a couple of years ago, but I literally got some of my fav peices from that store.  My fav pair of jeans and my fav spring bodycon dress is from that store.  Although you can no longer go out and get the dress, I just wanted to show it.  You probably can remember this design, it was sold at a couple of other stores other then just LVLX......so you might have one in your closest too :) I love "Oldie but Goodies"!!!

Roy's Hawaiian Fusion

Today was such a gloomy, rainy, cold day.  The antithesis of how the weather has been lately :(  So I literally just threw some clothes on with very little thought into it, because I was so disappointed I didn't get to choose from one of the Spring pieces I have purchased lately.  But forget the weather, if you haven't eaten at Roy's Hawaiian Fusion, you are truly missing out.  I was sitting there eating as if I had never eaten before, I wouldn't even stop for a second to take a breathe.  The food was soo good.  It was my second time eating there, so I already had an idea of what I was going to get.  For appetizer I ate 2 Sushi dishes.  For dinner I had lobster, clams, crab cake, shrimp, and rice (sadly my camera died so I didn't get a picture of that).  I am also alot less stressed despite the fact that my final is due tommorow, so my eating habits have been great!

I literally could not live without this product, your concealer is the base for everything.  I would not even bother with makeup I did not have this, or something that is equivalent.  This is the only product that I have ever found that completely evens out my skintone, but does not feel like I have alot of junk on my face. It does not have a smell, not streaky, blends seamlessly, and the coverage is absolutely amazing.  When I tell people how bad my acne scarring is, they simple just don't believe me.....why?.....because of this product and the amount of imperfections it is able to cover.   Its contains .25 oz and lasts me about 3-6 months with daily use.

Target Spring Heels: Purple Pumps and Turquoise Platforms

I don't know about you, but sometimes I find that Target makes some of the hardest most uncomfortable shoes. There open toe shoes always seem to fit me fine, but everytime I try to purchase closed toe pumps OMG they are painful :(
I went there the other day and saw some awesome bright spring time worthy heels, perfect for color blocking of course.  I found some purple pumps and some turquoise platform strappy heels (I actually wanted colbalt blue instead of turquoise but they were out of my size).  I loved them both..... AT FIRST!

I wore the purple pumps all day this past weekend, and yes I will be returning them asap, my toes and soles hurt sooo bad!  Those things were so darn hard, thank God the bottoms of the shoes still look brand new lol.

As for the Turquoise Strappy Platforms I have not worn them out, but I can tell they will be alot more comfortable so I am keeping them for sure.  Anyways I got them both from Target this past Friday so check out your Target if you like either of them.  They were both around $29.99. Not bad.

Virgin Remy Full Lace (Just a Peak)

I finally purchased a virgin full lace wig, and now have no idea how I waited so long.  It feels so good, and must look good too.  I have never turned so many heads before in my life.....other then when I wear my real hair.  But this has never happened with any of my synthetic lace fronts ever.  Beyond all of that, I am really satisfied so far with the length, color, texture, and fit. Be aware this is only my very first day wearing it. I will be doing a review soon, so don't worry :)

This month is going to be tough I have to 2 research papers, a group project, and 2 finals due.  So I am going to have to try extra extra hard to maintain my weight.  I have already gotten down to 137.  I now stay between 137-140.  Over the weekend when I took these pics I was 129.  I have been craving 5 guys burgers just about everyday.   And that day I went out to eat and had Chinese Pork in Plum Sauce, Shrimp in Cashew Nuts, and some tofu type stuff..................it was sooo good.  If only I could eat like that everyday.

Nutra Nail Gel Perfect UV-Free Gel-Color Review

Claims:
- Applies like polish, no basecoat or topcoat needed
- Protects nails from breaking, rock sold shield
- Sets in 5 minutes, no dings, smudges, or sheet marks
- Creates a patent leather shine, looks glossy
- Easy to remove in 2 minutes

How it Applies:  Start with Clean Dry Nails

1. Apply Nutra Nail 5 Minute Gel Polish Activator to all 5 nails on one hand, do not allow it to dry
2.  Immediately apply Nutra Nail Gel Color ontop, allowing gel and activator to mix
3. Clean the brush on the Nutra Nail Gel Color with the Nutra Nail Cleaner, if not the polish with begin to clump on brush once it mixes alot with activator
*** First coat may look streaky
4.  Proceed with another coat of Nutra Nail Gel Color, or until nail color is true to color and no longer streaky
5. Should set within 5 minutes, no topcoat necessary
6. Once you are done with one hand, repeat with the next hand

My Experience

***** Does it apply like polish, no basecoat or topcoat needed ????
           Does it set in 5 minutes, no dings, smudges, or sheet marks????
- I allowed my nails 4 hours to dry, but it never did, it remained slightly wet and tacky. 
- I had to end up applying a fast dry top coat because I could not wait any longer
- It DOES NOT dry in 5 minutes

***** Does it create a patent leather shine, looks glossy
- Yes the results looked shiny and glossy, but nothing special
- But the polish is not long wearing and began to chip, fade, and look dull by the 5th day, my nail polishes normally last 2 weeks

***** Does it remove easy in 2 minutes
- Yes with accentone nail polish remover, it can be easily removed

*****Does it protect nails from breaking, rock sold shield
- MAJOR FAIL
- This polish turned my long strong nails into, DRY, FRAGILE, BROKEN, BRITTLE, CRACKING, CHIPPING nails
- In one week 4 nails broke, that absolutely never happens to me, ever!!!!
- By the time I took this polish off, I ended up having to cut my nails short.  Then they continued to be fragile and break, so I had to cut them even shorter. 
- Look at the previous pics of how long my nails were when I first used this polish, look at how SHORT my nails are now :(

Final Thoughts:

The 5 Minute Gel Polish Activator smells, looks, and feels just like nail glue. I have a sneaky suspicion that's all it really is. I believe applying what smells and looks like nail glue to my entire nail dried my nails up, and made them brittle, and easily breakable. I will never ever use this polish ever again. It is damaging, and does almost nothing it claims it will do.  Not to mention do you see how small those bottles are?  NOT WORTH IT
