Styled By A Star/ Beyonce (Red Blazer)

I do not know what it is about a simple fitted red blazer, but it really stands out, compliments any and all skin tones, is eye catching, and sophisticated.  This has to be my all time favorite piece of clothing for both the fall and winter.  I do not wear coats ever, since I typically just go from car to a building with little to no walking outside in the cold, a coat is never necessary.  So I either wear a blazer, cardigan, or bomber jacket.  But I have worn the heck outta this red blazer and each and every time I wear it I get some sort of compliment or question asking wear I purchased it.  Well I got it for about $15 or less I can't completely remember from Ross and the brand is New York & Company.

Mac Giveaway & Holiday Haul

I am in my mid....omg almost late 20's so Christmas is no longer about recieving gifts, it is more about giving and spending time with family and friends. Oh Yeah and also having a nice little break from grad school/work. But since this is a beauty blog I figured I would share some of the things I got, along with the things I bought myself before Christmas and after Christmas with Christmas money I recieved. I am sooo very grateful and excited to start this new year 2012. I have some amazing things in the works I can not wait to share and I have some major goals I can't wait to achieve this year. Last year was a bit of a struggle at times, I can forsee that this year I will be able to put the things I learned from last years struggles to use. The Lord continues to show me he has plans for me greater then ones I could ever dream for myself, and that my plans aren't necessarily his plans.....so all I can do is pray and follow his guidance. I pray that all my viewers feel just as blessed as I do no matter what struggles and obstacles you encounter. Please have a very blessed new year and if you haven't heard me already say this a million times know that I truly love each and everyone of you beautiful people and I really appreciate the support.

MAC JUBILEE -- MY NEW FAV NUDE

My all time favorite nude lipstick used to be  MAC Blankety (Amplified) which is a pinky nude but now I have fallen inlove with MAC Jubilee (Lustre) which is a peachy/brown nude.  I love how Jubilee wears, I love the fact that you can pack it on and it never turns chalky looking.  It is just so easy to wear, you do not have to use a lip liner, and it goes absolutely great with deep skintones.  I wish I had this lipstick so long ago, but I am grateful I got it for Christmas.  I can not see how I ever lived without it :)
