I AM IN THE 140 RANGE AGAIN.......

I used to be super weight obsessed.  I used to weigh myself 5-10 times every single day, and would feel mad if I got below a certain weight.  But lately I have not been that way at all.  Which is a great thing, finally my body shape has kinda just stabilized so that when I gain or lose 5-10 lbs my body shape pretty much doesn't change a bit.  For that reason I have not payed that much attention to how many lbs I am, because I know if I am 134 or 140 it doesn't matter because my shape wont change.  Last time I did a weight update I mentioned that I have not been eating that much and that I was between I think 134-136.  Since then my eating habits have not changed one bit.  I still eat one meal a day, I snack at most once a day, and drink 1-2 nutritional supplements a day. The only change is I drink alot more water.  My husboo was actually telling me today that I need to start eating more because he does not understand how I only eat one meal a day.  So I was shocked when I just got on the scale and saw 142 wtf.   I was so surprised.  And no I did not gain Thanksgiving weight.  I barely ate anything on Thanksgiving and I have not eaten any leftovers.  My mom cooked for Thanksgiving and I do not like my moms cooking so the weight change is not due to that.  I wonder if its just water weight, but I doubt that because I have been drinking excessive amounts of water for at least a month now and I am just now noticing a change in my weight.  I should have known I gained because my Husboo told me lately that my lower hips are wider.  I also noticed the wideness of my lower hips. My weight is soo interesting to me I gained weight for absolutely no reason at all. 

I am beginning to wonder if Subway steak and cheese subs are really fattening.  For the past week or 2 the one meal that I have been eating is a Subways steak and cheese sub and that is absolutely it.  That along with a can of soda and maybe a snack of either a cookie or 2, or bagel, or ice cream. I dunno..........its weird, but 140's again like I was last winter sounds great to me! :)

EOS (Evolution of Smooth) Review

One thing to know about me is I do not wear lip balm or chapstick.  I only wear glosses or lipsticks.  I like my lips to be very moist, shinny, and soft.  So I am very particular about what I put on my lips.  I usually wear NYX glosses and/or Carmax.  I have never been satisfied with the way that any lip balm/chapstick makes my lips feel.  It always felt like a dry type of moisture, hard to explain, but just not a good feeling to me.  Not to mention those things never had lasting moisture.  I would end up having to reapply within 30 mins.  But EOS is different.  EOS is a lip balm that is antioxidant rich and contains Vitamin E, Shea Butter and Jojoba Oil and this product claims to make for happy, moist, super-smooth lips.  It is 95% organic, and 100% natural.  EOS contains no paraben and is petrolatum free! Lastly it is not tested on animals and is gluten free. 

Now that I have gotten the product claims out of the way I can say I love it.  The packaging alone is catchy and different then any other lip balm.  It is shaped like an egg, but has a flat grip on one side, and has a twist off top.  The packaging is too cute.  And most importantly the lip balm works, yes it works for my big ol dry lips.  I love everything about this product.  I would definitely recommend it.  The flavors/scents I know it comes in include lemon, tangerine, summer fruit, and honey suckle.  I was excited to get honey suckle but the store I went to did not have that one so I ended up getting summer fruit.  The taste and smell is so soothing and sweet.  It cost about $4 which is a bit pricey to me for lip balm, but it was well worth it.  And I will repurchase it!  It is sold at Rite Aid and Walgreens.

Forever 21 Winter Coats

Forever 21 is never a place I go for winter staples.  When it comes to winter coats, boots, scarves, gloves, jeans, or thick warm sweaters Forever 21 is the last place I go in search of those items.  Forever 21 is more of a place to get items that are super trendy, that you may only wear a couple of times, for only a single season.  Forever 21 clothing is known for its cheapness, thinness, and low quality.  So to my surprise I found an amazing, warm, thick, high quality, lined, winter, P-coat.  What, Right?  I am truly amazed my self and when I showed my mom she was amazed to.  Just the lining itself is something I would not think would be sold on something made by Forever 21.

The coat I found has a great amount of detail.  The quality is beyond wonderful, and the price was not bad.  It is military inspired with beautiful button detailing and pleats are found throughout the coat.  The coat is mostly made of wool and cotton with a nice polyester lining.

Please check out Forever 21 they have a great selection of winter coats that will likely last for couple of season if not more

Black Friday Shopping/ 1 Year Update

What a night it was. I feel kinda bad for making my Husboo go shopping with me on our anniversary.  And he had just gotten off of work so he was super tired.  But I was on a mission, and yes my mission is pretty much completed.  I found a winter coat, and omg my new coat is soooo sexy.  I also bought a grey handbag, makeup, jeggings, and a couple other things.  I ended up not getting the Mulberry for Target bag, I didn't think it was worth $40 once I looked at it up close.  It wasn't a bag I could see my self using as an everyday bag, and the way it opened up was not feasible.  So I still need an everyday black bag....but the bags I currently own can do until next pay period.  I will post pics of the pieces I purchased at a later date but lets look into my OOTD, and pics of me and Melgar Nov 26, 2009 when we first made it official and then Nov 26, 2010 of this year exactly a year later.  Please enjoy.  We have to still celebrate our anniversary.....which we will do either Saturday or Sunday!!!

Black Friday Shopping/ 1 Year Aniversary

So we are going to have to delay our aniversary celebration for a couple of day due to today being Black Friday and because my husboo had to work all day. So I am about to go get ready after laying around all day so that when my husboo gets off we can go to Marshalls and Target.  Nothing I want will be onsale but I still need to get what I want today before what I want is out of stock due to Black Friday madness.

I am hoping to get a winter P-coat and a Mulberry for Target bag in black.  So lets hope I find both today because I have a final and research paper due next week so anything that I do not find while I am out shopping this weekend I will not beable to shop for, for another week and a half :(  So we will see. 

As for our Aniversary, we will celebrate that on Sunday.  Just with a movie and dinner.  No more mini vacations until my semester is over.  My semester ends Decemeber 18, so after that I hope to go to NY with Melgar and some place tropical and warm after new years and before my Spring semester.

Ok so I still will have my old channel and I will still continue to make videos for my old channel.  I am pretty sure my old channel will remain my main channel.  But this new channel will feature things that are more personal.  It will show more of my flaws.  And I will not promote the videos on my fb page, because they will feature videos that I am more shy about.  So the only place I will promote that channel and those sort of videos is on this page. 

 

Ecstatic, I AM FINALLY A MAC COSMETICS OWNER!!!

So I can not even begin to describe how amazing it feels to finally be a MAC cosmetic owner.  I have have waited so long for this day.  Since these are my very first MAC products I had to start with the basics.  I bought powder foundation, and nude lipstick.  I can't wait to purchase some blushes, finishing powder, and eyeshadows.  But, right now I am very satisfied with my very first MAC products.  I am so happy I was off today to meet my MAC shipment at the door as soon as it arrived.

I am a little worried about the powder foundation I purchased.  I am praying it is not too light.  Both products I bought were based upon youtube guru MAKEUPD0LL and the products and colors she uses.  I love her natural, nude lip that she uses on a daily basis which is why I took her advice and bought the Fresh Brew lipstick.  I also decided to get the same color foundation that she uses because she seemed to be the same complexion as me, and she also has a lot of acne scars like me.  I got NW45, but now that it is at my door I am not too sure about the shade.  We will just have to see, I am so pressed about these new products I have yet to stick a brush in them.  :) HAHA  But I really HOPE THEY BOTH WORK OUT FOR ME!!!!

So take a look at my products and continue on the journey with me as I have finally started my dream of being a collector of high end makeup products.  I hope to order some NARS products this weekend.  I will keep you posted.

Thanksgiving Nails

Tommorow is Thanksgiving and last night I did my nails.  I typically hate wearing red on my nails, but for the holiday season I think its just the perfect color.  Red to me reminds me of old ladies, every old lady I ever see with their nails done seems to always choose a dark or bright red color.  So I wanted to make my red look youthful.  So instead of doing my entire nail, I did a red french along with a tad of glitter.  As far as my nails go, I am ready for Thanksgiving!

I knew before I bought this product I would love it, and it has done exactly what it claimed it would do.  At first, for about the first week of using it everday it did feel a bit harsh.....I thought my face may react negatively.....but it didn't.  My face has taken to this product very well.  I mainly purchased this product to help with my acne scaring discoloration and it has done just that.  I have been using this product for 3-4 weeks now and my face has shown great improvements.  It is really resurfacing my skin on a daily basis, slowly breaking up the acne scaring, and as a result causing the scaring to fade.  I will post pictures down below of my face before I bought this product and now that its been 3-4 weeks.  I will def  re-purchase this product and will probably use this product forever to maintain clear skin once I finally achieve it.  I will also continue to post new pics everytime I see more and more improvements in my face complexion.  So continue to follow me on my journey to clear skin.

KAY (TF27) - Freetress Equal Human Hair Wig REVAMPED

I have had this week for about a week now.  I have worn it around the house and taken pics with it on.  But I just never warmed up to the ultra conservative look of this wig.  I expected more from this wig.  I expected more choppiness and more length all around but especially on the sides.  The back does not even cover beady beadys/kitchen in the back.  There is nothing I can do about that.  What I could do is add length to the sides and add more choppiness.  I wanted to make the wig my own and more fitting for me.  I wanted to make it so I could actually where it out and feel comfortable and cute.  You might think it looked better to begin with, or looked better when I added length and had not cut it yet, but I think the end result looks the best.  I absolutely love the wig now. YAY!! I feel so accomplished now because I spent almost all day trying to fix this wig up.  Thank God its human hair, if not I might now have ever been able to work with it, and might have had to throw it away as I have done so many other wigs.

So thats what I did all day Sunday.  Added hair, chopped it up, cut it up, and chopped some more.  Curled and there you go.  I love the end result!!!!  Imma def wear this wig this week and maybe even on my aniversary......this is exactly what I expected to get when I ordered the wig.
